A Day at the CARL. Academy

The CARL Academy is an essential component of the holistic approach to CARL Therapy. At our dedicated training center, clinical teams receive expert instruction designed to build both theoretical knowledge and practical confidence in using every aspect of CARL Technology. To meet the specific needs of each clinical team, training programs at the CARL Academy typically take place over several days.

Arrival at the CARL. Academy
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our team. After a tour of the facilities and a brief introduction, you will begin your first day of training. Meals and refreshments for your team will, of course, be provided throughout the training program.
Theoretical Introduction
The first module of the training begins with an overview of CARL Therapy. Our team of experienced clinicians will present the decades of intensive research on which our therapeutic approach is based and explain how all components of CARL Technology work together.
The session also includes an opportunity to discuss clinical experience and explore best practices for implementing CARL Therapy at your Cardiac Arrest Center.
Hands-On Introduction
The theoretical module is followed by a practical introduction to CARL Technology. Your team will become familiar with the basic functions, the user interface, and how all components work together. Once the necessary foundations have been laid, all course participants will learn how to safely handle the hardware. All components will be explained step by step, with ample time to explore the features and operation of the devices.
User Training
The hands-on training content in our Simulation Center is designed to maximize the time participants spend actively working with the equipment. Our staff will support you with their many years of experience in the application of extracorporeal procedures in a clinical setting.

Realistic simulation scenarios strengthen practical skills and team processes. The CARL Support Team guides you through troubleshooting scenarios that are resolved as a team, addressing the individual needs and questions of all participants along the way. This enables all participants to gain the confidence needed to act effectively in emergency situations, both within and outside the hospital setting.
Your Certificate
At the end of each CARL Expert Training, the knowledge transfer of all participants is assessed. Upon successfully passing the assessment, all course participants receive an official certificate.
